Water Leaks

If you discover a Leak in your plumbing, the very first thing to do is locate and shut off the Water Supply before calling a plumber.

While this may seem like a common sense thing to do, many people don't know where their Water Shut Off Valve is. You may want to locate your Main Water Shut Off Valve before an emergency. Larger properties may have multiple shut off valves, so look for more than one.

Then notify all family members or tenants of the location, and demonstrate how to turn it off. Consider having them each do it as well, so they know what to do during an emergency.
